I've got nothing to add this week; the page speaks for itself.

I cannot decide what she wanted... Seriously. It looks to me like she REALLY just wanted to have a rematch and went all that length to do it OR was simply weirdly bipolar.

Something tells me Trellian got the wrong idea and thinks Adam "killed" her (not literally) and mostly agrees with his mom.
Hm.

She wanted to run off with Trellian, but Adam kept stopping her from doing that. So ok, guess violence is the only way, battle battle, except she can't win - she's never been able to win against Adam. Frustrated to the max, fine, enough of this - I'mma blow myself up taking you with me.

Enter voice-of-reason Adam saying Trellian shouldn't be an orphan, triggering the tiny bit of compassion that was still left in her. She definitely does care about her son, at least. As for Adam, I think Zara really wanted to love him, but their ideals were just too different.

Yes. I can see that. Thanks.
Her fault though. Adam wanted to reason with her but she was aggressive. BOTH did not want to consider the other's point of view but Adam at least aimed for a peaceful solution.

Yeah ... you could say Adam was too clingy, not letting Zara do her own thing, but if her ambition of ruling the world involves harming other people ... sorry, nope, can't letcha do that.

Yeeeeah. I can agree with that.
There is not anything not objective about not wanting to understand the other side when it is clearly harmful ambition.
Hm.

Apologies for the spam but I have been thinking about it a bit and maybe Zara just wanted to test Adam in a very screwed up way. Whether his believes are above even their love (he did love her anyway) so he can take care of their prodigal son because she was not capable and was corrupted already.

Don't worry, I really appreciate every single comment. Plus it's a huge compliment to think my comic may be thought-provoking, so thank you :D

But yeah that's possible. By the end it was probably also a bit of, damn everything went so wrong for me, do I really want my son to have a similar life?

Yeah, I have really nothing to say to this, except, "DAMN."
