A bit of a pet peeve of mine: "fighting fire with fire". It fixes nothing. If they insult us, we insult them; if they bomb us, we bomb them. Great idea! Let's have firefighters go to work with flamethrowers!

Burning a fire break I believe is the origin of that.
And now it's time for her to teleport.

That would be one way to escape, indeed.

If she can get hot enough, she might be able to evaporate the water...

but yeah it's probably teleport time.

Evaporating it is an interesting idea I hadn't thought of, but I think Libra would then just spawn a whole lot more water.

Oh my goodness, I HATE that, too! Yes, exactly - counteract with the opposite, NOT the same thing! Oh NO, Libra really does not seem pacifistic, at the end of this. :P

Hah, of course she won't actually drown Bailey, but it is an opportunity to make her forfeit.

Actually you can use fire against fire. You just need now how to do it. Carefully burning bushes in path of forest fire for example... Or explosives in case of oil well fire, including nukes...

Sure, there are exceptions. If it's strategic fire VS violent fire, that can work. But mindless violent fire VS mindless violent fire won't accomplish much.

Heh. It is human nature to insult or fight back. Gotta protect whatever you feel is going away from you.

She should teleport, I guess. That is one way of escaping but after that she will be open for another attack.

Teleporting takes quite a bit of energy, especially if you've never done it before, soooo who knows :)

11th Jul 2017, 9:10 PM

Why doesn't someone who has the air element against someone without it just fly far away from the arena so that the opponent can never beat them?

11th Jul 2017, 9:23 PM

Sportsmanship, I guess. I think everyone else would be like "this is dumb come back here and have an actual fight or you're disqualified".
